Chinese Pug Puppies

Looking for Chinese Pug Puppies?

Chinese Pug puppies and regular Pug puppies are the same.  Pugs can also be called Chinese Pugs, there is no difference, they are the exact same.

Some people may choose to advertise their puppies as “Chinese Pugs” but this is for advertising purposes only.

You don’t need to go to a special Pug breeder for these dogs, any Pug breeder will dog.  But make sure they are a reputable dealer and ask for at least three references.

Since Pugs seem to be prone to breathing problems, make sure you get a health guarantee from the breeder.  If you are going to spend several hundreds of dollars on this dog, then get one that is guaranteed.

Pug puppies only come in two colors; fawn and black, so you do not have a lot of choices to make, other than male or female.

Whether you get a male or a female Chinese Pug puppy is up to you, as there is not a lot of advantage over one or the other.

Whatever pug you choose make sure it is at least 8 weeks before you bring it home and that it is fully weaned.  After you get your puppy, take it to the veterinarian right away for a health exam and talk to them about setting up an appointment to spay/neuter when the pug gets a few weeks older.

Vaccination should be given, generally at 8, 12, and 16 weeks of age.  Rabies vaccinations for pugs are normally given around 4 months of age and then repeated at one year of age, depending on location.

Potty training your Chinese Pug puppy should begin as soon as you bring them home.  Obedience training is usually not started until 4 months of age in Pugs.
